Hello.
I’ve been having issues with loading files from micro sd card and now from my desktop.
I go to load files within LB and the folders show empty but they aren’t.
I 1st noticed this during my first few projects loading images from my SD card but I was able to work around by opening the file separately and dragging them into LB.
Now I’m trying to load LA Hobby Guy Libraries. I was able to see and load cut/engrave settings, but the other libraries wont show the files in the folders. The file extensions are all correct and they populate/show when opening outside of LB.
I went to my PC setting and enabled show hidden files but that’s not working.
Any ideas of what could be the issue?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Thank you for responding!
Show file extensions is enabled in file explorer but when opening within LB folders are empty. The view option when folders are opened in LB dont have the show option. It only has the view/size/details/etc options.
Still stuck arggg.
Thank you.
Thank You, Thank you, Thank You!
I didnt know to right click for dropdown menu.
But now I dont see where fonts, templates etc go.
I did click create new in library and everything that was there is gone so Im really screwing things up now.
I watched Rich’s video a half dozen times and still missing something.
Also now Im wondering why when importing image in a project its not seeing the micro sd card files.
I have to step away for a couple hours. I’ve neglected my other morning duties to trouble shoot this.
I’m confused. Are you talking about a different set of problems now or the original problem of the Art Library?
Other than single line fonts, LightBurn doesn’t really manage fonts. It uses whatever fonts are made available by the OS. Single line font location and enablement is done in Edit->Settings.
There’s no concept of template in LightBurn so you’ll need to elaborate there.
Where did you do this? Are you referring to Art Library or something else? What were you trying to achieve when you did this? In general, loading a library will give you access to a library.
Can you see the file in Explorer? If so, it should be available in LightBurn. Make sure you’ve picked the SD Card on the left pane of the File Selection window.
Thanks for all the help!
I didn’t understand that you had to activate the “Art” window. I thought when you uploaded a folder that’s what populated or created an art library withing the library…
I found the art window option by right clicking on the title bar of the windows area.
I dont know where I created “New” or why. I was trying anything to see what happened. I guess I was trying to create a folder within the materials window called art.
I seemed to have fixed the SD card issue when I enabled show extension because I see them while importing now.
