Ok so making a finger joint box via a box generator and the joints are always too loose. I tried the generators burn test from .06mm all the way down to .001mm and they all fit the same…loose. It looks as though LightBurn or the generator is making all of them the same. Any idea on how to tighten the joints up?
The K40 has a kerf of about 0.1mm, so you could just use the outward Kerf Offset setting in LightBurn to cut the box. Do a pair of rectangles with a single tab testing different amounts to see what works, like this:
