My Falcon A1 10w laser has been working fine using Lightburn, until today. When I setup to center a project I hit the Fire button, and the laser did not respond. This feature has been working normally but for a new setup it quit. The laser works correctly framing, and operates normally in all other areas. I tried the $30=1000 command in the console and am at odds as to what to do next. Any ideas?
Thanks for the response. Nope, I tried that this morning and that was not it. My settings are;
$30=1,000
$31=0.000
$32=1
Those settings are good, but do not affect the fire button opreation.
Can you give us a screen capture (WinKey+CTRL+S) of the Device Settings, Basic Settings window?
These $ variable values are actually set on the controller, Lightburn also has to have the identical 1,000 value in the S-Value max setting.
Don’t know if this will fix the issue, but it can be an issue. Normally this stuff doesn’t change unless the operator does it..

It is strange that framing works and fire doesn’t since I believe they both work off the same % value set, and the fire button will not be available if disabled.
I have learned when things suddenly start acting up that loading a different preference from backup before the problem can fix problems.
