You shouldn’t need the password for setting the machine up through LightBurn as it directly enters into the settings.
Even so, over the years I have also got a couple of other passwords: HG8888 and CC8888.
Given the consistency of the numbers 8888, there is a finite number (676) of passwords that are likely. Ie. AA8888, AB8888, AC8888 etc. If you don’t mind trying them all, then start withh AA, then BB, then CC etc
It seems there are some secrets or something that RDWorks can do…
How do I change ‘Blow Type’ in Lightburn?
This has come up a few times all over the place. One of the users here is dealing with, what we think is this problem.
I’ve looked on my spouses Windows machine and don’t have that option even available.
There are a couple of ‘odd’ semaphores in there that you can enable or disable… Such as ‘Inhale on delay(ms)’ and ‘Inhale off delay(ms)’ in ‘special param’. Does this have to do with ventilation or?
Afternoon Jack, thanks for the info for the Russ parts.
My order has just gone in
Hi Willie, any closer to solving your problems?
I’ve used lots of different passwords on my controller(same as yours)
none of them work but any adjustments i have to do i do through Lightburn.
Try RX6666
How much of the head do you need? I have 2 laying around because I got the Russ light weight head. 1 came of a 50w machine and the other came off a 60w.
Ordered a new head made for the C series and am going to try to design a bracket to fit it. Apparently the weekend for China is from Friday morning to Monday some time.
I tried around 40 or so passwords before I got fed up with it and gave up.
I’ll try this one later.
I need the whole thing. I have ordered one and will be designing a bracket this week so I hope I do it correctly. Would you mind dropping some pics? If it’s the same I’d like to buy it from you while I work on the brackets. I’d like to make at least a few Christmas presents before we leave for Italy.
Final update! Ordered new tube mounts and had to return them, my calculations were off by a couple of mm and that was too many apparently. Did a full align (again!) perfect square until head. Something in the bracket/head was off and @micrololin was kind enough to ship a head he was no longer using. Found the bracket on Craigslist.
Started with the head, still off a bit, replaced bracket and BOOM! Full alignment!
Final thing to do is to swap out my 4" inline duct fan for a more powerful 6" model and redo the filter system. Should be right as rain!
I was hoping the head would fix it. Glad it’s aligned now.
The head helped as did the bracket. Both were off just slightly, It would always clip in the tube and now it’s perfect. My back is killing me from spending all morning aligning it. But so far so good! All mirrors hit fine, no clipping the tube. All tests at each end of the bed cut and engrave like a dream. Now on to the other stuff. And now I have to sell the other stuff. Oh well.
