Fix your lightburn software download

The fact that I had to spend 7 hours figuring out I had to download the ch34x 1.5 driver is absurd. When I new client downloads the program Everything should work. I shouldn’t have to sign in to a forum and navigate beginner trouble shooting issues because my laser xtool doesn’t connect. I’d fire the software engineers who can’t provide a downloaded program and have a laser connect. I connected the xtool by usb in seconds and it worked. The fact I spent this much time looking at trying to use your program is Mind Blowing. The fact that I’ll have to pay for those software in 30 days I want to say I’m not happy with the way this is starting.

The installation and instructions for driver installation fall to the hardware manufacturer. Just as you wouldn’t expect Adobe to ship every conceivable driver for every printer to be used with Photoshop you wouldn’t expect LightBurn to ship with drivers for every laser hardware.

When installing the laser, did you review the instructions from xTool about steps required? That may have mitigated some of your frustration.
