Flame settings on Lightburn

How can I change my setting for the flame error, is there a setting to change the sensitivity on it?

Hi Daniel - yes, the setting can be adjusted. This has been resolved many times here on the forum, and the search bar is a great place to start before making a post.

This post specifically covers how to adjust the value on an Ortur machine: OLF 170. [MSG: Flame detector active,Ambient infrared value0 - #7 by SixtyOneWoodworks

Is this question specifically related to your xTool D1?

I’d like to move this to the correct section and offer the xTool users an opportunity to help.

In the meantime, Please connect to your engraver with LightBurn and open the Console window.

At the start of your engraving session when the xTool first connects it shares the Firmware version information in that window.

xTool has put a great deal of time and effort into their Firmware.
Newer versions of the Firmware are more refined and may handle the Flame Detector differently. So we should probably consider this a first step.

The sensitivity of the flame detector is adjustable in the Machine Settings. Some early firmware may have been resistant to changes to settings.

In the Console window you can get the machine settings by entering $$ followed by the Enter key.

The Setting for the flame detector is a larger number. It should be in the Manual that ships with the xTool. I have a vague memory that the flame detector sensitivity setting is around $280 for my Comgo Z1.
