When I open a photo to burn or even make my own text it looks great on the screen but lasers flipped, both vertically and horizontally. I can correct by rotating it to appear wrong so it burns correct. Any help with this would be great. BTW, still new with lasers.

Your origin in Device Settings is likely not right for your laser. I believe your laser is expecting to be upper-left but not certain.
When you change this, any design made previously with a different origin will need to be modified. Try changing this until your burns look correct.

Most Grbl devices are lower-left (front-left when facing the frame).
