Hi everyone, I have a 20 watt output Laser Tree laser. I tried to cut foam board, and the paper cut fine, but the foam core melted. Can anyone suggest a fix or settings? Thanks
White, by chance? If so, try black core.
In fact yes. And it was Hell to cut through the paper at first. I have some black spray paint. I’ll spray a piece and see if that does it. Thanks bro.
I think you’ll still have issues with the core and bottom facing.
White reflects most of the energy from a visible light laser. Even thin light colored and sometimes blue EVA foam can be difficult or impossible to cut.
I went and bought some black. I’ll try it out. Thanks for the help.
