Focus lost on object when framing (MacOS, v2.0)

In older versions, when you closed the frame window and wanted to adjust drawing position, you could just use cursor keys to move the drawing right away. It was a quick way to fine tune where your engraving would place.
Starting with version 2, at least in MacOS, when you close the framing window, the object appears as selected, but it can no longer be moved with cursor keys, you have to click it again (even it it appears as selected) to be able to move it.

There’s some focus action that was lost between 1.7 and 2.0 when you close the framing window.

Am I the only one annoyed by this?

I have Ubuntu and am running 1.7.04 The software loses focus on this version also. Using my fiber machine.

It appears selected, but you can no longer move it with the arrow keys or attempting to use P to center it.

I can confirm that the latest 1.7 release I had in June for MacOS worked just fine, so it seems its more spread than I thought. It’s a PITA when you are used to moving the object around and reframe. Unfortunately I don’t see a lot of interest or feedback on this :frowning:
