Download, configure & use of SHX fonts

Hello, I am using version 1.7.00 in English, down loaded SHX fonts from Internet, extracted to a folder, put the folder name in configuration SET SHX font path, it does not bring the SHX fonts when I type over default arial a font like “FIN”, simply it cannot find it. Any clue? appreciated, Héctor
