I am fairly new to Lightburn. How do I load more fonts ?

Lightburn uses the fonts installed on your computer. If you want more fonts available in Lightburn, you need to install them on your computer.

Add them to Windows in the usual way, restart LightBurn, and there they are:

Things are different for SHX fonts taken from the CAD world, of which Windows knows nothing. When you need single-line lettering, the doc gives the details:

Back in November 2020 I put a post up about a SHX font collection I had collated. The 44 fonts proved to be pretty popular, with over 23,000 downloads. Recently I was sorting my Dropbox Account and the font folder got moved, so the link no longer works, and I can’t edit the post to add a new link, so here it here:

LightBurn uses your computer system fonts. If you want a new font just add it to your systems font folder, LightBurn must be restarted for the new font to be visible
