I can’t imagine a keyboard and some G-code data come anywhere close to the data transfer cap of USB. Have you tried it?
I’m with you but how else would you explain that the keypad works locally and not remotely on this long usb extension cable. computers are weird beasts. might be due to voltage threshold or such.
