Frame Speed - MOVE panel not available

Want to slow/change Framing Speed. The MOVE panel is not available to me, remaining greyed out. How to accomplish this?

Do you have this type laser?
Galvo Settings - LightBurn Software Documentation

Basically, yes. It’s IPG, not Raycus, but same thing. I can edit that setting in Device Settings but it immediately reverts back to the old value as soon as I leave that field.

No save or write button?

Why do you want to do this?

:smile_cat:

Not that I see.

To slow it down so to make it easier to verify with a human MK-I eyeball.

The framing is set on yours to 100mm/s, mine is 4000mm/s.

The idea is to make the whole shape visible to your MK-1 eyeballs/brain. There shouldn’t be a need to make it crawl like a gantry machine has to. If it’s fast enough it will produce a area that looks like there is no movement of the laser.

I don’t know how you would slow it down anymore except by the framing speed.

Good luck

:man_facepalming: I’m embarrassed to admit that it did not occur to me to make it that fast. Thank you. Accomplished.

Don’t be, I think we’ve all been in that boat…

Glad it’s functional…

I row it more frequently than most, I’ll wager. This is compounded by the fact that it actually has a outboard motor, too… :upside_down_face:
