Help please. I am unable to frame the piece I want to cut out. When select the object, I press ‘Frame’ and the laser goes charging off and bangs into the frame of the machine. I don’t have limit switches fitted. I am using the Atomstack 20. Any help gratefully received.
Make sure to use „current position“ as starting point and „cut selected graphics only“ and „use selection origin“.

Then you should home the machine manually every time you turn it on, so the controller knows where the laser head is positioned:
After it’s properly homed, always use the jog buttons to move the head, so the controller continues to know where it is.
