Can anyone tell me why suddenly, the crosshairs don’t match the cut path. Laser is cutting exactly the difference that the laser is to the crosshair. Thank you
Was the Pointer Offset in Edit->Device Settings disabled somehow?
Yes, apparently it got disabled. I have enabled it and will close program for the night and see how it works tomorrow. There is an X and Y window directly under the enable button. Am I supposed to enter the amount of the offset in there, and If so, where do I get this info.
Yes. Is it gone?
If so, is it possible that you’re not working in the correct device profile? Check in Laser window that the correct laser is selected.
If you’re on the correct profile, then just reconfigure the pointer offset.
device profile, not familiar with the term, How can I check that?
For the device set, I used the create manually method, and there were several GRBL options, so I picked one. Is there a better method. I tried to do an update to Windows 11, and ran into issues this weekend. I have been having problems since then.
Download the .lbdev file here:
Operate xTool D1 Pro with LightBurn - xTool Support Center
Push Devices button in Laser window, then import, then import the .lbdev file. That should create a new device based on the .lbdev file. Delete all other devices listed in the Devices window.
I can’t thank you enough berainlb. I am in the middle of my busiest season and was scraping wood. I very much appreciate you time. Everything is working as it should now at a first glance.
Thank You.
