Windows 10, up to date lightburn, k40 300mmx200mm bed, cohesion3d smoothieware. Gantry crashes into the front of the machine when framing anything. After homing (top left corner) the machine tracing anything at any size(that fits the bed) causes the machine to crash the gantry into the front of the machine at extremely fast speeds. Even with the speed set at 15mm/s. It doesn’t make any effort to trace, it just crashes straight into the front of the machine.
Check in your Laser tab if you have set Start From to Absolute Cords. I had mine set to User Origin and same was happening to my machine.

I had mine set to user origin 
I reset it back to current position and now it works! Thanks I don’t know why I didn’t try that before or how it was switched. I usually use Current position. Thanks!
