Hi all — first post here, long-time LightBurn user with a MOPA OMTech 30W.
I built a free web tool for handling the layer setup side of MOPA colour marking jobs — upload an image, it detects colours and organises them into up to 28 layers, maps starting parameters per colour, and exports directly to .lbrn. No account, no install, runs in browser.
Site’s at mopacolorstudio.com if anyone wants to try it. There’s also a colour reference chart and a parameter explorer for JPT M7 sources in the Utilities section, plus some written guides on getting specific machines (ComMarker B6, OMTech 60W Split) set up for colour work in LightBurn.
Genuinely built this to solve my own workflow problem, sharing here because this forum’s been a great resource for me while learning MOPA settings. Open to feedback, especially from anyone running a different MOPA source (JPT M6, etc.) where my starting parameters might need adjusting.
