Question to the install since 0.9.3: why is there an new installation routine added for some “FTDI” drivers?
I have made your question a separate topic since it was unrelated to the topic you originally posted it in. It is generally considered proper “internet etiquette” to make new posts for separate questions instead of piggybacking them onto existing ones. Thank you for considering this going forward to keep our forum a clean and well organized place.
The FTDI driver is needed to communicate with a number of controllers that LightBurn supports, so it has been added to the installer to make it easier for people that would not otherwise know to install it themselves.
Some of the supported controllers require them. If you don’t want them, cancel the driver install.
