A really quick question. I’m away from the laser at the moment so can’t try myself.
I have four galvo lenses to setup with lightburn. After calibration, can I run the wizard again to check it is set satisfactorily? Basically will the wizard use the calibration settings or default back to uncalibrated settings?
You need to duplicate your device profile and create a new profile for each lens. If your laser manufacturer provided a separate COR (lens correction) file, you can import it into your device settings.
Part of running the wizard is making changes and measuring the output. If the 9 point calibration doesn’t produce accurate results you may need to calibrate the lens manually. As long as you are clicking Done at the end of the process, the wizard automatically applies the corrections to your Device Settings
I think you misunderstood me. I actually mean if I calibrate say a 50mm x 50mm lens and then leave that lens in the laser, run the calibration again (same lens) does the wizard use the lens correction settings, or go back to no correction?
