Galvo, Rotary, Sub-layers not sequencing

I am running tumblers on my 50w JPT with a rotary device and I have set sub-layers to first do a slow pass to remove powder-coat and the second as a faster clean up pass. Everything has been working perfectly since I have been using this method for over a year. However, today the first layer works but is not sequencing to the second layer automatically. The only I can finish the job is if I turn off the second sub-layer and after the first is done I have to turn that one off and turn on the second sub-layer and run it. Seems like something changed in the software and now the process only works manually. Is there a fix to this issue?

Following along, did you get this resolved? I had something similar with the rotary and sub-layers when I had extra sub layers turned off. I deleted the unused sub-layers so I just had a line and a fill, saved, re-started, solved the problem. JPT M7 fiber with chuck rotary.

Do you have “Run shapes in shape order” or “Run all shapes in each slice” chosen?

The first should work as you want, the second processes each slice to completion and moves on to the next one.

Thank you for this information. I did the latest upgrade and after I selected “Run shapes in shape order” and the problem was solved.
