Get rid of duplicate line

You might want to start over in Lightburn, and redraw your designs. The route you are taking creates files with a lot of extra nodes and wavy shapes. The file you uploaded is pretty easy to recreate. Maybe some of your other files are harder to recreate. Sometimes, the “easy fix” is to redraw.

Yes, I am looking to see if I have the patterns elsewhere. It is not online. I found it in an old magazine called Scroll World. It took me hours or even days (did it in 1999) to cut all 42 pieces but with laser only 1 1/2 hour and that is cutting that double line.
The Magazine is dated Dec 1997. Maybe I can look for the magazine online and get the pattern again. I, too, noticed all the nodes and was trying to combine the 2 lines but the laser will still cut it twice which I am trying to prevent. Thanks to everyone for pointers and trying.

An update. I did find the magazine and will have it next week. Will rescan the pattern and try again. At least I won’t have to clean the tea and coffee stains off. Why I used gimp to make everything black and white again. Any tips on scanning patterns for lightburn?

Again thank you everyone.

Hint: If clocking on the inside causes the walking ants on the outside, You have a break in the original scan. Look for the inside to loop over to the outside path. You can spot about where by running it in Preview. The line will suddenly reverse direction, instead of making a full loop, where there is a crossover or break. Preview at 1x or 2x at speed.
