Gifted a Creality Falcon 2 Air Pump how to get it to work with Falcon 10watt

How do i get a Air Pump from a Creality Falcon 2 with a Circular connection to work with a Falcon 10wat laser, i though i could run a 24 line what the electomagnetic do not activate the diaphragm

Hi Hugh

I believe Creality has a custom connector that requires a Falcon 2 motherboard to work.

I dont think you can - easily - give it 24v unless you rewire it.

thanks i was looking how to rewire so that i dont have to worry about the circular connector cause i think there is a trigger in the 3rd pin , but the confusion comes from when i opened the pump there are 2 wires in but even it i swapped the the wires with a 24v power super direct i get a connection but no moven on the diaphragms, but on the falcon 2 there is no issue

THe problem is we are uncertain on what makes these “tick”
is it a modulated signal from the motherboard, a form of PWM? or a simple DC signal

Given the wiring i see it shouldnt be a simple 24v DC in signal

thanks so what do you suggest i do or try, if i had an open air assist for 10watt i think would make life so much easier

Hard to tell if I am honest.

I would reach to Creatity support to understand if they could advise on how to connect them. Maybe they have hardware that could work?

I am certain too the midnHive here on the forum will propose other alternatives.

thank you appreciate your kander

The end part of the following guide has useful information.

thank you appreciate 24v AC correct

Hi there,
I ended up with the same problem, got a second hand Falcon 10w with an air assist with the 3 pin connector (so for a Falcon2 if I understand right). How did you convert it for your Falcon 10? What did you use? Could I bother you with some diagram? Thanks!
