my first locomotive full working
Wow, that looks great! I can’t believe those are laser cut parts.
I try to share my file
glaskasten definitivo.lbrn2 (2.3 MB)
I add some photos to better understand how to assemble the locomotive.
I recommend doing the pieces a little at a time because maybe the thickness of your material could change and the design could need to be customized and understood.
the model is in 1:32 scale, It has no motor but all the parts move and the doors can be opened.
for the thin parts I used very hard phenolic plywood 0.6mm thick, difficult to cut, it needs many passes at low power, it can be replaced with cardboard if you build the static model.
to make the motorized model the moving parts must be made of hard wood or brass, the phenolic plywood is hard enough to work without breaking.
if you have any questions write to me, I’ll try to solve all your doubts.
Very very nice.
