I have an issue with my Xtool D1 Pro creating a mirrored text when engraving on glass. I am using the Xtool RA2 Pro in roller configuration mode. I have double checked my settings and everything appears to be normal looking, not sure what to do. Any help would be great.

It looks like you have them on separate layers?.. what is the interval in the mirrored area?
Can you post the project file?
If you could get all the letters to do it, I think that would be cool and unique engraving.
Interval for the text was .09mm (282 DPI). The interesting thing is I made about 5 more tests which also came out with a random mirrored text below my intended text but one of the test came out normal. I didn’t really change anything which was bizarre to me.
Kind of at a loss, almost seems like a bug possibly unless there is a setting I dont know about that needs to change. I attached my project file if you want to check it out! I appreciate the help!

I watched it in Preview. You are making 2 passes using crosshatch. The second one is along the Yaxis instead of Xaxis again. I am betting you are getting a reflection off the first pass.
Try using Offset Fill and set for 1 or 2 passes on the text layer. The estimated burn time goes from about 4 minutes to 2.5 minutes. Your resolution and interval appear to be okay for a diode. Not sure if this would eliminate the reflections issue, but it is worth a try.
The 45% power seems a bit strong for a 20w laser. You sure you need that much burn-thru energy?
I think with a rotary, you shouldn’t use crosshatch.
I’d suggest to try and dial it in for a single pass. I think you should be able to do it with your laser… However I don’t own one of these and use the co2 or fiber for this…

Oh wow I didn’t even realize I had the cross hatch engaged. This makes total sense because while watching it live it will do the first pass then it will start doing the mirrored text when it should be doing the cross hatch! I will definitely disable this and give it a shot, I will report back. Thank you guys!
