It will cost you $50.00 a month to get more out of your Glowforge than just basic tools and mediocre cloud computing. If you are an owner and commit now, it is only $15 a month. Makes LB look like the best bargain out there!
I “refuse”, to the extent possible, to have anything to do with cloud-/subscription- only services. If the company/service goes defunct, you lost your platform and, potentially, your content. 
Provide cloud/subscription option, but as exactly that; an option.
Are they really saying that if you want to create text in your designs (without importing it as an SVG) you need to pay an extra $50 per month? Seems a bit excessive.
