GRBL-M3 1.1e the Y lines are not crisp and a question about 1.1h

Not sure what is going on here but this happens with 1.1e and default parameters.
The laser engraves nicely but it goes over the lines.
Ive tried tighten the belts.

The N letter

It does not happen with 1.1h and GRBL controller or at least not that visable. And here goes my other question. I tested both Nano boards one with 1.1e on GRBL-M3 and one with 1.1h GRBL on the same file with same power settings. The power output was significantly lower in 1.1h GRBL compared to 1.1e with GRBL-M3.
Is there a way to get as much power with 1.1h GRBL as 1.1e GRBL-M3? Or am I not getting something here?
