Hi All, I am trying to get a deeper grey engraving on aluminium, and have used the downloadable Aluminium settings from the material library, but it is not noticeably dark enough.I am trying to make the engraving look aged
I have a 30W Fibre laser
Aluminum is different that a lot of other metals as far as marking black.
You can check out Commaker settings page for their 60W MOPA unit.
In section 10, they talk and have settings for aluminum. As the size and thickness change, this effects your results.
