I have a design which consists of two circles and a line of text on the path of each circle, when I group everything and then move the object to a new position on the screen the text seperates from the path, but still remains circular, if I then ungroup everthing the text shoots back to its proper position on the line.
This is a known issue, and it happens because the text applied to the path is offset by the translation of the path it’s attached to, and the offset applied to the group, but the path itself is also being offset by the group. It’s one of the quirks that’s on the list to fix. You can convert the text to a simple path to fix it, or add the text OR the path to the group, but not both.
