GWEIKE Cloud Pro + LightBurn: USB vs LAN — which is most stable?

New Cloud Pro 50W (510×300). Windows 11, LightBurn 1.6.x.
“Find My Laser” shows a GWEIKE Cloud over USB and also a network device. USB works but I’ve had two mid-job disconnects; over TCP I sometimes get “Transfer failed: device busy”.
What connection are you running day-to-day (USB hub/cable length, COM settings, static IP, etc.)? Any device-profile tweaks that made it rock solid?

If by TCP you mean WIFI, then what you are experiencing is typical.

  1. USB = The most common and reasonably reliable if you use quality cables (has a shield and ferrite noise suppressor) and obey USB 2.0 length restrictions.
  2. WIFI = Very poor choice for live data streaming. A WIFI signal constantly varies in amplitude. Use a WIFI Analyser app to see what I mean.
  3. Ethernet = The most reliable method and relative immune to RF noise problems. Unfortunately, not all lasers have Ethernet capability and RJ-45 connectors.
