ok, I have a little diode laser that was so much fun I decided I wanted a co2, so after some looking around I settled on Gweike Cloud Pro 50W. I thought I was reasonably intelligent, but this machine ate my lunch. I’ve had it for almost 3 months and every time I solve one issue, something else doesn’t work right. First off, I didn’t think about how big it is. It took me one whole day to drag it up the steps and into my house. Then I got it set up and it wouldn’t turn on. Emergency stop button. Duh. Then I couldn’t connect to the internet. They said I needed a mouse. Bought a mouse. Still didn’t work, bought a new laptop. Finally connected. After that it was the issues with using Gweike with Lightburn. Got that settled (yay) finally, then it would frame but when you hit start it would fire up and then do nothing. I read all the related posts on the forum, tried a lot, learned a lot, cried a lot, cussed a lot. I finally switched the 2 usb cables, the camera cable and the USB com cable, and it worked…sort of. It’s now cutting part of the design, but it quits in the middle. I’m going back to the forum to see if there are any posts about that issue! But if anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them! Mostly I just wanted to say how thankful I am for this forum!

The #1 culprit for this complaint is the USB cable. It appears the camera cable is only marginally better than the laser cable.
Suggestion: Shop for a USB cable that is shielded and contains ferrites (big knots) on both ends. Expect to pay more than you want for this cable. Or just pray the cheap ones will work.
Congratulations on your continued success with the Gwieke. Your journey is not over.
thank you! I will try that! I’ve gotten it to actually cut, but I can’t get it to fill. It is really weird, it will engrave some areas really well, some partially, and some not at all. It seems reasonable that it might be the usb cord.
I think mirror alignment being off might do this. You really need to chat with a CO2 owner for this issue.
