Gweike G2 Max Stops firing early into job and needs power cycle

I received my Gweike G2 50W a couple of days ago and have just set it up, with the included USB cable, everything seems good. The job I am doing is just a simple 3d map for a coin test. But the job stops firing the laser about 5% into the job, and just throws out the red laser. Once this happens I have to turn off the machine completely before i can run any other jobs with laser power.
The red dot still tracks whats going on in the job, but there is no laser power, if I hold a sheet of paper in focus of the laser there is nothing happening.

Other jobs that are just vector engraving finish just fine, but I am not sure if its because they are lower power jobs, or quicker jobs. Iā€™m not sure what to provide, but my settings are pretty conservative. 80% power with a 22% power clean up pass.

It could be either. Both will reduce the total heat generated in the system. Suspect the power supply as a culprit too. If it is in warranty, definitely contact the manufacturer.

Looks like it cloud be something like that. I talked with the Gweike folks. Tech support over whatsapp was a little sketchy at first but seems really good.

They are having me send it back and get a new machine.
