I wanted to spook up the shop for Halloween, so I crafted this lighted…

:ghost: LightBurn engineers transformed into wizards, conjuring up the latest and greatest software. :ghost:

Happy Halloween Everyone! :man_vampire:

Happy Halloween for you too!
Regardless Halloween tradition (that doesn’t say anything to me but I respect) I love the idea you put in image.
Is that acrylic?

Happy Halloween too.
The Lightburn logo is reversed it´s on purpose?

No, it’s glass.
I spray painted it black then laser engraved, I then spray painted over it with a fluorescent green.

I used a LED black light to make the green paint have the glowing effect.

Good eye.

Yes it was on purpose, being Halloween the engineers changed and so did the logo.

I was wondering if anyone would catch that part.

I very much appreciate your kind words.
Thank you.

With that eye sight I have to ask, do you recognize the developers too?

You mean back light right?
Because my poor english I went to search on google for “led black light” :grinning:
But well it could be a halloween prank anyway.

It’s not this one exactly, but similar.

Note: I used a Blue colored Led and got the same glowing effect.

It is reversed so when you wrap your arms around the cauldren, you get the corrected Logo burnt into your arms.

This look’s spooky! Nice job, John!

What did you use for the black fringes around the piece? (it looks like cassette tape)

Thank You, yes it does look like old cassette tapes. :joy:

I used old garland that my wife didn’t want anymore.
It’s hot glued to an MDF box

Here’s a better pic I have…

So after all it is a kind of black light. I know black light from my youth in disco nights.
( I am not so old ok?!!! :grinning:)
But actually, from the photo, it doesn’t look like a black light.
Maybe that’s why it got this spectacular look.
