HANDS UP, I've tested and tested...5.5w diode (20w laser master)

I want to cut Cardstock paper and have tried more variations with higher speeds than I can count. I can’t seem to find the golden power to speed even with 10 passes…

You have a diode laser. You might be able to cut paper at most, and probably not even white paper since it’ll reflect all the light from the laser beam. The general idea when you need more power is to slow down, not speed up.

Make sure the laser is focused to the smallest point you can, and you’ll probably use 90 to 100% power and just bring the speed down until it works. For heavy card, 3.3 mm/sec (or about 200 mm/minute) at 100% power is a suggestion from one manufacturer using a similar power laser.
