Has anyone figured out how to get the XTool Slide extension for the F1 to work in Lightburn?

Hello and good day,

I hope that I’m posting this question in the correct group. If not, please guide me to where I need to post it at.

My question is, has anyone figured out how to get the XTool Slide Extension to work with Lightburn?

It is not necessarily a showstopper at this point but if someone has figured it out, could you share this knowledge with me? There are a few features that Lightburn can do and XCS still cannot do and will make my life easier when the time comes.

Thank you for any input on this.

I recent received an F1 and I would also like to now an answer to this. Have you tried the rotary tool ? I can’t seem to get that to work either.

Hello and good day,

Yes I have the Rotary tool and I got it to work however it does not work the same as it does in XCS (xTool Creative Space) as it does in Lightburn.

I am assuming that you got Lightburn to work with the F1 without any accessories so you know that when you ask Lightburn to frame your work, it will only show once real quickly. The same is true with the rotary tool. It will only show a quick display and then shut off. When I choose the frame option, I cannot get the chuck to rotate however there is a way to better frame in Lightburn abit it is a bit of a hassle.

If you draw a box around your design and make sure it and only it outputs and use 4% power and set to line mode, the chuck should rotate when this is output to the chuck or when it is in normal mode to allow you to better align the object.

When ready, just turn the output of this framing box off or delete it and run the job once you are happy with positioning and verified that the chuck turns.

Hope this helps!

Still have not got an answer to the slide extension yet so I may play around with it and see if I can maybe figure it out.
