Having a couple of issues with connecting 2 lasers to one computer

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you all.

I have a couple of issues that I created on my computer.

Background:

It started when I tried to hook up 2 lasers on one computer.

Issue 1:

When I am working in Lightburn Ver 2.004. Periodically, I don’t see the “X” to close the program. I must use the Microsoft function tab. I must hold down the tab and use the up-arrow key at the same time to bring the close “X” visible again.

Is there a permanent fix to this issue?

Issue 2:

I get the general concept of hooking two lasers to one computer.

When they say open LB in another Constance. I know I must change the com ports. How can I do that if the LB is running on one port? I must be missing something obvious.

My computer is.

Dell Latitude 7280 Laptop PC.

2.40 GHz Processor

116 GB TAM DDR4

512 GB M.2 Solid State Drive

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I will put both lasers to the computer’s different USB ports and see if they are assigned their respective addresses in the Windows system. Then I will start LightBurn session 1, connect the laser…, do the same with LightBurn session 2 and laser no. 2. The address change is often the biggest problem, so I would not recommend running 2 Lasers from one computer. But other users may have different experiences.
