Head goes past 0,0 when sent home

I turn on the machine, I go to Lightburn, press the get position, it shows 0,0
I move the head using the arrows in lightburn.

But when I press the home button in lightburn, the head goes all the way to the
left and all the way back and tries to keep going for a few seconds beyond
the back of the machine. Not where I told it 0,0 is.

I attached a video so someone can hopefully see and help with where I am going wrong.

The home button doesn’t put the laser head to 0,0. It asks the laser to home, meaning reestablish 0,0. The D1 does not have homing switches so is not intended to home this way. There are people successfully using a sensorless homing method to do this but success reports are mixed on this.

If you want to go to 0,0 set the Origin to 0,0 and use the “Go to origin” button rather than the home button.

Having the same homing issue, d1 pro 20 watt.
I’m using the latest version of Lightburn and have checked both limit switches. At a loss as to what’s next ?

D1 Pro is a different machine and the issue here is likely to be different. Suggest you start a new Topic detailing what you’re experiencing.
