I am using a ‘Hebrew text editor’ to type a block of text, then copying it into Lightburn. My editor does have a ‘copying to: English’ option, but nothing I’ve done helps.
When it gets into Lightburn, some of the ‘vowel letters’ consistently show a ‘block’ intead, after the letter itself.
Yes, I am using the same installed font for both softwares. And also tried other fonts and combos.
And now I made sure that (Windows 11) had Hebrew installed as a language. No help.
If Windows has the Hebrew font, try creating your text in Lightburn. Something might be getting lost with the copy command.
Hi Uri
We had a couple of issues with Hebrew in the past. Could you send a couple of examples, too, to support@lightburnsoftware.com?
Given current holidays, I would like to not lose track of this topic.
UPDATE: While Lightburn did say they had similar problems, seems my case is not their fault… The older Hebrew software I was using apparently had their own proprietary TTF’s that did not ‘translate’ well; when I install true Unicode Hebrew fonts and copy directly from the Internet, everything seems to get through into Lightburn…
