Hi i want to ask…i have plywood poplar and on this i painted it white…then engraved portrait on this…but i heard it will be going off this paint or smudge portrait in time…its true? whats best to protect engraved portrait on white paint?
I use spray Minwax polyurethane on most materials like wood painted. Usually 2 or 3 coats. That will protect it. You can use super fine steel wool to perfect the finish. I use Minwax’s Polycrylic on my paintings. It would work on pretty much anything the polyurethane does. I’ve tried lots of other stuff, these are now all I use.
