Help me choose between LT-4LDS-V2 and K30

Hello, I wanted to by a laser module with a higher capacity for my machine and wanted to know if buying the LT-4LDS-V2 with an air assit is better than only buying the K30?

My main goal is to cut through 9mm MDF without burning it and I don’t mind the speed if it can be done with multiple passes.

I also want to understand the importance of using an air assit and whether it is absolutely necessary to decide between the two cost wise because I can only afford the V2 with an air assist.

Burning is how it cuts. There will be some charring on the sides for sure. Higher speeds and multiple passes helps reduce this.

No, but it is 99% recommended. I can cut 10mm bamboo with 40w because I have air assist. Air Assist also helps keep the laser lens clean.

The only thing left for me to understand is the Auxiliary functions the K30 provides. What does it actually mean?
