Which Ruida do you have, that’s hasn’t been mentioned — it’s usually put in your profile, so I don’t have to ask.
Many of us have a 6442 model, apparently this does not support a rotary.
If you have a switch for the rotary use that off the Y axes. You only have to set the steps/rotation.
For a roller type, I generally slow down the Y acceleration values… this would be smart to setup in a machine settings file, load it when you use the rotary and load the original before you leave the machine.
