ALARM:3 means, Reset while in motion. Grbl cannot guarantee position. Lost steps are likely. Re-homing is highly recommended.
This can happen when communication between the computer and your laser control board is lost. This can happen due to loose or poor USB cable/connection point, loss of power, or electronic interference such as another close device turning on or off. The controller reset and now has no idea where it physically is relative to your bed coordinates.
