Help with a 5w UV Galvo Laser

Hello have a 5w UV Galvo Laser, I have been trying to engrave aluminium tumblers. First of using Rotary each one taking over 45 mins with a simple logo. using a 300x300 lense

have tried using cylinder correction but small bit keep being missed at the ends, but its a lot quicker. Can someone please help and advice how best to do this, wasting a lot of stock keep trying many thanks

Not a galvo user, but you can tape painter’s tape or paper over a tumbler to avoid scrapping them. Once you get it dialed in, then adjust output power for the actual job.

First step is to make sure the device profile was set up according to your manufacturer by importing their settings file, did you do this?

You’ve got a large lens there, did you duplicate the profile then change the working size as described here?

You will need to calibrate the lens: Galvo Lens Calibration - LightBurn User Guide

If things are still off the next part is to tweak settings here:

Have you reviewed our galvo rotary video? It sounds like sounds like you need to adjust your rotary setup window settings:

45 minutes is a long time. We need to inspect the rotary settings you are using in your file to see where they can be improved.
