Help with Camera Alignment

Good morning.

I have been trying to align my camera but when I press frame it always maxes my x and y axis. I have changed the scale number and the print pattern is in the middle of my work space.

I noticed that it says that I must have a 200mm x 200 mm work space. I don’t have that. I have a workspace of 280x180 or 11in x 7in. What settings do i have to change in order to get the alignment to work.

Also when I hit the origin button on my laser it always goes to the top right even thought during setup I set the bottom left and maxes my laser.

When I setup my machine I set it up as GRBL 1.1 or earlier. And it picked it up as a 200 x 200 mm.

I have been watching all kind of tutorials and I just can’t seem to set this up.

GRBL itself has settings that specify the size of the laser ($130 and $131) and LightBurn reads those when you set it up. If your laser doesn’t have homing switches, you’ll need to manually zero / home the machine to get it to work.

The Camera Alignment wizard has a value called ‘Scale’ that you can change to adjust the size of the pattern. 75% should be fine - that will make the total size 150mm instead of 200.
