Hi I’m new to the laser world, I have discovered how to design and burn the project ok, but how to you cut around the object to separate it. I.e cut around a box so it separates it from the sheet of material you are using.

Try looking here, you will find many good explanations of Lightburn here. There are also links to very nice starter videos, I have benefited greatly from them and highly recommend them.
