FOR THE LOVE OF….. my old (very old) pc started to die, so thought I get ahead.
Now be aware that, myself and technology is the true definition of an oxymoron!. I thought it would be as simple as installing lightburn on my new pc, copy and paste my license key and off I go on my merry way.
Oh how wrong could I be…Three hours later and I do mean three hours, me screaming at the computer screen, “ not everyone instinctively knows what to do, ya know a fair few of us didn’t have computers in school and then through in AuDHD”, boiling blood comes to mind.
I followed what I found, word for word, put everything on a USB drive and plugged it into my new laptop, now what…more long winded instructions, read a bit, did a bit, back and forth. Finally arriving at what I thought was the final bit, copied and pasted the key, below that it asked for offline request file .ofr absolutely NO .ofr anywhere in what I extracted from my old pc and yes of course when I went back to the old one to do it all again, it may as well have told me to..well ya know. I’ve tried to click on the email us link, wouldn’t let. All I could do was come here and ask for your help, so if there is anyone that’s able to help I would be FOREVER grateful. I would get on my knees, but I’m not sure if I could get back up.
