Hi guys do you know part number of right 8 pin chip .it hasn’t any number
If you can’t read it, we certainly cant. Perhaps some context for what this board is on would help?
Unless you plan on doing board-level repair, its likely easiest to just acquire a replacement from the manufacturer.
To me it looks like a typical vreg https://canada.newark.com/richtek/rt9068-50gsp/ldo-fixed-5v-0-05a-sop-8/dp/06AC2489 - but we have no way of knowing the specs
Thanks for answer Colin.this board belong to n30820 neje laser diode
The reason it doesn’t have a number is specifically so you can’t get a replacement for it. Some manufacturers go so far as to sand the surface of the package to remove any marks.
Although it may be a jellybean part, an SOIC-8 like that can be anything:
- Voltage regulator (as @Colin mentioned)
- Serial flash memory chip (for calibration / ID data)
- Digital logic
- Microcontroller
- Op amp
- Specialized analog circuitry
Reverse-engineering the circuit board will give you a netlist. Knowing the obvious chips, you can turn the netlist into a partial schematic. The connections / components around the mystery chip will hint what’s inside, but you can never be sure.
Thanks for help.I guessed it would be like that.
