Hidden traced work under original image problem

I have imported a picture to trace but it didnt work out even adjusting the image, so i lined around the image with squares and circles etc with connect path and edited them after cutting parts of squares, lines and circles which formed the image i wanted, worked out quite well. I moved the image away to the side to see the traced results, perfect but when i moved back the traced part over the original, the traced part ended up underneath the original, not on top, so i couldnt see the compared results to check. How do i reverse the process to see the traced part over the original image rather than hidden underneath.

I can’t remember if it’s a select-rightclick or up on the the menu bar (arrange, maybe?) But you want to to “send to back” or something very close to that.

Chris is right, there is an option:

i have highlighted selected the image i copied and clicked push to back, nothing happened. Also done the same with push backward in draw order but still the same, either way selecting the drawing i done or the image i copied nothing happens.
I assume i have to select the image i want moving.

I deleted the picture that i was tracing and imported it again, for some reason what every i trace like a square circle or line is hidden behind the imported image, how do i reverse. it seems the push to back or front is not working under arrange, not sure whats happening here.

Can you upload the image?

I will try.

Isn’t your image on a different layer than the trace result? Just change the order of the layers, where you put the image layer under the trace result layer.
