No one really mentions how fast it can go… might have to measure it yourself…
I’ve read a number of reviews, but no mention of it’s highest speed.
Good luck

The official maximum speed it 6000mm/min (that’s the limit set in firmware). You can go faster when changing those limits. People have been successfully used it up to 10,000 I would say. BUT the laser head is very heavy, and the mechanic is not well suited for very high speeds. You need to carefully tune your mechanics and adjust the project settings to achieve such speeds. Usually, I recommend cutting speeds of 600-1000mm/min and engraving speeds of 2000-4000mm/min. Not faster.
Diode lasers are slow, if you want to go much faster, use CO2 ![]()
Most people forget about a dc excited tube takes forever to lase compared to lasing a solid state device…
This really limits how fast you can turn it on and off, response time or simply it’s bandwidth.
That is, if you run one of these and want to operate the machine within it’s mechanical/electrical specifications.

Now that is an unnatural restriction if I ever saw one! ![]()
Thanks for the info!
