I make leather badges that are elliptical and vaguely shaped (not round and rectangular). I would like to make 0.8mm precuts for sewing at equal intervals, about 3mm from the outer edge. Is there a method for this in Lightburn? The Array function only supports round and rectangular models.
You can use the offset tool to create your stitch-line (you’ll need to do some node editing after) then use ‘Copy Along Path’ to copy you stitch hole/cut along it.
The example above shows circular holes but you might prefer a single angled cut.
This is exactly the kind of guidance I was hoping to receive. Thank you!
