Home vs. Origin at end of job - with Ruida Controller

I am having the same issue with the machine not going back to origin, instead it goes back to the home position back right corner when done engraving.Is there a fix for this?

This is likely a different issue than what the original poster was experiencing. Generally not good to piggyback on an existing post for a different issue as it can distract the conversation.

Having said that, return position is something you configure in the Controller for Ruida.

it worked fine until i did the update in lightburn.

Timing may be coincidental. I understand that the return behavior can also be different based on what controller type you have and is affected by the “Start From” setting in Laser window.

You could try reinstalling an older version to see if that changes behavior.
